Although my house is located only 5 minutes walk to Zangrandi Ice Cream, I rarely visit this establishment due to problem in finding parking spot. I normally went to their outlets either in...Galaxy Mall or Tunjungan Plaza I knew the outlet in Galaxy Mall was closed already before the Covid-19 pandemic and had no idea on the other outlet in Tunjungan Plaza although I personally noticed the taste of their ice cream was up and down inconsistent over the years. it turned out both outlets are not operated/owned by the same individual who owned Zangrandi. I was aware of this issue after the owner of Zangrandi made an announcement last month they would stop the operation and close both Zangrandi and their only outlet in Pasar Atom Surabaya indefinitely they only closed for several days before reopening them again. During the pandemic, we decided we would not dine in. In Zangrandi, we made no exception either. I ordered 3 of their tutti fruttis 1 raspberry and 2 chocolates and consumed them in the car. Their Tutti Fruttis ice cream are still the best and I strongly recommend them to everyone who is looking for authentic good quality ice cream in Surabaya. It's not cheap I remember I paid their Strawberry tutti frutti for IDR 37K.
